The Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (FAES) is a non-profit foundation committed to promoting the productivity and attractiveness of professional life on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) campuses by providing advanced educational programs and supporting biomedical research within the NIH intramural program. Located at NIH�s main campus in Bethesda, Maryland, FAES programs complement the work of NIH in accomplishing its mission of research and training in the biomedical sciences.
Our range of programs and services include:
scientific and non-scientific courses, advanced studies programs in technology transfer and public health; bookstore; conference management and training; social and academic center; music and concert series; fellows housing; sponsorship of NIH lecture and seminar series, select Office of Intramural Training and Education (OITE) programs, Graduate Partnership Program (GPP) Student Lounge, symposia, and of group medical and dental insurance plans for NIH affiliates not eligible for federal employee benefits.
